Some helpful thoughts:

1. Of course, if you received an offer you are highly valued by our staff and your coach making the BEST ANSWER 'YES'!  That said, the next best answer is a quick answer.   Quick answers allow us to display a great foundation as others are contemplating.  This makes the process move along quickly.  If you have decided you want to decline, a fast answer is a huge act of kindness to those players wanting to join our family and nervously waiting to be moved from the wait list to a team.

2. As a matter of our own core values, we respect and follow the OVR's mandate that players are to be left alone to make their decision.  Any act of aggressively pressuring a player is truly a red flag.  Our interest is as strong or stronger than any other club, so please do not misinterpret our respect for your space as a lack of interest.

3. Be sure to get all your offers from any club in writing.  Once that happens, the offer cannot be revoked or changed.  Make sure the offer is detailed.   Once in hand, you can relax and wait until the deadline 'IF' you are truly waiting on a different club you really would like to play for.  You hold the cards!
